A very interesting photograph!

Artist's Description

This is a close up view of Bethea, the figurehead on the reproduction of the
HMS Bounty. The ship is a replica of the Bounty where Captain Bligh ruled with an iron fist and later became a movie, "The Mutiny on the Bounty"
The hull is 130 yrs old and this reproduction was made in 1960 when Marlon Brando starred as Capt. Bligh.
